At the last AGM held in July 2011, there was a proposal that the Association consider changing its name.  It was resolved that this question be deferred to the next AGM on the premise that members put forward their suggested new names to the Secretary by 31st December 2011.  B Whitaker has proposed, “The Tees-side Chess Association”.  No other suggestions were received.
