07/02/12 – A CHALLENGE TO THE C.C.A.
The organiser of the chess club held within HMP Kirklevington Grange on Monday nights has enquired if anyone (necessarily over 21 years) would be willing to visit the prison and play against its members? They are 5 to 10 in number, nearing the end of their respective pre-release work programmes, and have grown tired of the same old opponents. The arrangements will be subject to the Governor’s approval but time constraints are likely to mean games of 30 minutes or, at most, an hour for each player per game.
Would anyone interested please contact the Secretary within the next 21 days on: pmitcheson2001[at]yahoo.co.uk
