CCA - Hall Of Fame
I decided it would be good if the CCA web site carried profiles
of the best players whose origins are in the area. All too often as
generations pass peoples memories dim and eventually the achievements of the
best players can be forgotten. The internet now offers us an opportunity to
keep the memories alive. Obviously a lot of the profiles will be of players
who are still active in chess and living; I believe this is better than
restricting the hall of fame to those who have passed away. I sent a list of
questions to a list of selected players and in the weeks and months to come
the replies will be posted. The first to reply in depth is Norman Stephenson,
