BCF Matters
Captains to remind players before match of the *NEW* FIDE/BCF rules
It is now illegal to write your move down and then move the piece - penalty for failing to observe this rule is default of the game, however the CCA has given
players 1 year to get use to this rule ?! The correct way is to move the piece 1st then write the move down.
Also mobile phones to be put into silent mode.
Captains *MUST* send in the match results via post to Ray Pallister on the Result cards provided.
Meeting Closed approx 9.00pm
